Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Perioperative Care Associate II \(1\.0 FTE, Days\) in Surgery at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA\.
The Perioperative Care Associate II must be able to perform all duties of the Perioperative Care Associate I\. Assists the surgical staff with turnover and preparation of OR suites\.
In this position you will:
Assist the core facilitator with completion of case carts and preparation of positioning devices and equipment
Assist the surgical team with preparation of the surgical suite
Assist in the training of the Perioperative Care Associate I \(PCA I\)
Assist with quality improvement processes
Work under guidance of the PCA III, Surgical Technologist, Facilitator and RN
Function as a collaborative and participative member of an interdisciplinary team
Required qualifications for this position include:
High School diploma or equivalent
One year experience performing duties of a Perioperative Care Associate Ior equivalent experience
Demonstrated knowledge of sterilization techniques
BLS certificate from American Heart Association required
