About Walden Behavioral Care
About Walden Behavioral Care
Walden Behavioral Care was founded by Stuart Koman, Ph.D., in 2003 as a healing institution that would provide individuals and their families suffering from eating and psychiatric disorders with treatment close to home. Over the past 12 years, more than 17,000 individuals received treatment at Walden Behavioral Care and nearly 250 patients are cared for each day at Walden’s locations across Massachusetts, Connecticut and Georgia.
Walden Behavioral Care prides itself on its attention to treatment innovation and accessibility to care. To achieve treatment innovation, we integrate a whole person approach that addresses a person’s mental, emotional, spiritual, social and physical well-being. This approach allows Walden staff to tailor a patient’s care at every step of the treatment process.
Eating Disorders Treatment Services
To best meet the needs of patients with eating disorders as well as those of their families and providers in New England, Walden created the region’s first full continuum of care. This includes hospital level of care, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programming and outpatient services.
Clinic...s have been established throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and Georgia to provide quality eating disorder care close to home.
Together Walden’s continuum of care and network of clinics have established Walden as New England’s leading eating disorder treatment program.
