Assists the Provider and nursing staff in performing patient care activities in a medical office.
EDUCATION: Graduate from an accredited school of practical nursing.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: Current New Mexico LPN license required. BLS certification required.
SKILLS: Must be able to pass LPN skills competency checklist applicable to area. Must be able to read, speak and write English fluently.

Bloodborne pathogens - B Exposure to infectious diseases, and x-rays where that service is provided.
Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment. Working hours are varied, with flexibility due to unexpected changes in schedule and emergencies.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this position, the LPN is regularly required to stand; walk and talk or hear. The LPN must frequently lift and/or move no more than 25 pounds. Ability to judge distance and space relationships, see peripherally, distinguish and identify different colors. Hearing and visual acuity within normal or correctable limits. Manual dexterity and fine motor coordination required.
