The Digital Content Specialist will lead content development and delivery to optimize the online user experience. The Specialist will own the overall voice of content on the website and serve as subject matter expert on our content driven search engine optimization and personalization strategy. Serve as managing editor of company's primary content platform, CHRISTUSHealth.org. This includes writing and editing page and, performing quality assurance site audits, partnering with ministry marketing leaders to ensure each of our ministries are accurately reflected on CHRISTUSHealth.org, and consistently representing the CHRISTUS Health brand voice throughout the site. The Specialist will be considerably involved in supporting the execution and strategy of websites personalization and testing.
Create update and maintain web content in the content management system (Sitecore), monitor the quality of the content on the live site and trouble shoot
Establish detailed content roadmap and editorial calendar to keep our online experience fresh an in alignment with our marketing goals and objectives
Contributes to the creation of the content strategy and then oversees the implementation of that strategy.
Lead integrations across our digital footprint to create a cohesive user journey
Identifies key opportunities to create new digital content to grow conversion rates and create a better user experience.
Develop and execute content for search engine optimization utilizing meta data and relevant content for optimal positioning proven by testing and metrics
Uses the website and campaign analytics to identify trends, assess data, and enhance content performance and traffic
Work with the Strategist to develop personas and patient journey roadmaps
Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
Excellent written and verbal communications skills
Ability to maintain a balance of editorial, digital, marketing and technical skills
Understands and navigates various digital content platforms and analytical tools (i.e. Content Management Systems, marketing automation, etc.)
Minimum four years of experience in content development preferably in a healthcare environment
Personalization experience a plus
Proven track record of creating digital content that engages users and follows the best practices of search engine optimization
Experience with Sitecore 8 and IBM Watson Marketing Automation a plus
