University of Missouri Health Care, a premier academic health center, located in Columbia, Missouri, is seeking a progressive, experienced leader of nursing research and evidence based practice for our Coordinator, Nursing Research & Evidence Based Practice.
This position is responsible for implementing the structure for nursing research and evidence-based practice (NR &EBP) hospital-wide at MUHC. This role creates strategies for all clinical policies and procedures being evidence based.

Responsibilities and Duties · Collaborate with the office of professional practice to support clinical operations to improve clinical quality. · Support the strategy for pursuit of Magnet status for nursing service excellence. · Develop opportunities to enhance the visibility of staff nurse achievements and recognition at the local, state and regional levels. · Establish collegial relationships with the Sinclair School of Nursing, the School of Health Professions and the School of Medicine to promote collaboration in education, research and performance improvement. · Accountable for creating opportunities and mentoring nurses to participation in nursing research and evidence based practice projects. Collaborate with Center of Education and Development to provide ongoing education for nursing research and evidence based practice.
