This position provides speech therapy services to adolescent, adult and geriatric patients in order to facilitate the highest level of independence and recovery from or adaptation to various deficits or disabilities through evaluation and assessment, functional activities, therapeutic exercise, procedures, education and training. This Speech therapist will assist patients and families to resume or assume new life roles. This position will actively participate in departmental program development, quality improvement, and educational programs, and other requirements to maintain this level.
Minimum of 2 years experience including clinical fellowship year.
Has demonstrated interest, aptitude, and skill in the areas of student program, clinical education, and program development.
Shows leadership potential and understanding of strategic goals of the department and the organization.
Bachelors or advanced degree in Speech Therapy from approved program.
Licensed Speech Therapist in the State of California.
Attained Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
