Portland, Oregon - Seeking an exemplary Neonatal nurse practitioner. Full-time position, at 12 shifts per month rotating variable shifts including weekends and holidays. The Nurse Practitioner will work in two Level III NICUs and be responsible for managing the care of critically ill neonates with life-threatening conditions including respiratory distress, neurologic complications, gastrointestinal diseases, renal abnormalities, neonatal abstinence syndrome as well as many other medical and surgical diagnosis. Candidate must be comfortable with endotracheal intubation and management of mechanical ventilation including HFOV, umbilical central lines and PICC placement. All providers will have a strong emphasis on quality improvement with dedicated time to lead work in a variety of areas. Position covers both Providence St. Vincent Medical Center and Providence Portland Medical Center, with the primary office location at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center.
