Assist the DCQI in the operations and management of the hospitalï¿½s Quality/Performance improvement program for Hilton Head Regional Healthcare.Assist with implementation of Quality objectives related to the Performance Improvement Program, Patient Safety Program, and other pertinent hospital-wide program plans.Responsible for abstracting medical records to collect performance data on required elements.Participate in analysis of performance data and coordinate completion of reports for presentation to medical and hospital committees.Assist with development and implementation of strategies aimed at improving performance.Facilitate cooperative and collaborative relationships among departments and with physicians and external agencies to ensure effective patient outcomes.Responsible for coordination of the medical staff quality program plan and the medical staff peer review process.Assist the Director of Clinical Quality Improvement (DCQI) in the day-to-day operations of the hospital.
1.Current State of South Carolina nursing license
2.Bachelor degree in health care related field
3.Master degree in health care related field preferred
1.Minimum of three years clinical experience in an acute hospital care setting
2.Three years experience in performance improvement preferred
3.Experience in statistical concepts, data management, variance tracking and analysis preferred
4.Working knowledge of regulatory standards and requirements
1.Comprehensive knowledge of Performance Improvement principles and practices preferred
2.Expertise in computers, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), operate office equipment, good interpersonal/communication/problem solving skills.
3.Demonstrated ability in problem solving and excellent organizational/time management skills
