Immediate Supervisor Title: Physician Practice Manager

Job Supervisory Responsibilities: N/A
Perform cardiovascular testing to include exercise (treadmill) and pharmacological. May also perform ABI testing and Holter monitor application and reading.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
Conduct job duties in accordance with TPR policies and procedures.
Performs Treadmill and Pharmacological Stress testing, Stress ECHO, ABIï¿½s and Holter monitor
Holter Monitor Application and Reading, maintaining Holter electronic records.
Performs ABI testing
Performs Resting EKG
Patient vital signs and charting.
Assists and or places and maintains a Patient I.V.
Maintain files and update computer data.
Run charges on all tests.
Communicate with patients, referring physicians and hospital personnel to maintain consistent timely follow-up on patients.
Relay & retrieve TTM reports to & from the designated physicians in a timely manner.
Monitor tasks throughout the day, promptly responding (same day) with current status of reporting, documenting in EMR.
Assist with other duties as necessary, i.e. phone calls, filing & distribution of reports, preparation of statistics for department.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
Perform work-related duties as directed.
Adhere to compliance policies and procedures. Report any incident that appears to be unusual/deficient to department supervisor/manager or the compliance department.
Education: HS Diploma/GED and completion of Certified Medical Assistant program or completion of a certified EKG or CVT course.
Preferred Education: Successful completion of an arrhythmia and 12 lead EKG test or CVT course with ACLS proficiency.
Certification: Current CPR and ACLS certifications.
Experience: One year experience as a Cardiovascular Tech. One to two yearsï¿½ cardiology clinic experience.
Preferred Experience: Prior experience as a Medical assistant to include starting IVï¿½s and Treadmill experience.
Other Requirements: EKG interpretation

Basic knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology.
EKG principles and methods
Understanding proper operation of Cardiac devices and equipment.
Knowledge of using medical equipment including cardiovascular testing equipment, stethoscope, scales, and blood pressure cuff, etc.
Knowledge of Electronic Health Systems.
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT codes.
Knowledge of the policies and procedures of a clinic sufficient to provide effective patient care.
Skill in multi-tasking.

Skill in verbal and written communication.

Work Environment: Position is in a well-lit office environment.
Mental/Physical Requirements: Involves varied activities including standing, sitting, walking, stooping, lifting, bending, reaching. Requires full range of body motion including: handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Must be able to use correct body mechanics to assist patients appropriately. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to push or pull mobile equipment on casters up to 500 pounds.
