Provides Respiratory Care to patients to include: Oxygen therapy, Respiratory treatments as prescribes by physician, cough enhancements, deep breathing enhancements, nebulizer treatments, chest physical therapy, metered dose inhaler treatments, incentive spirometry, flutter valve, positive expiratory pressure, continuous positive airway pressure, bi-level positive airway pressure, aerosol therapy both cook and heated. |
Respiratory diagnostics to include: peak flow measurements, obtains blood gas sample, analyzes blood gas sample, pulse oximetry, overnight oximetry, initiate bedside EKG monitoring, recognizes 12 Lead EKG placement, and cares for patients requiring non-invasive blood pressure (NIBP) |
