Work Hours/Shift: Full Time – Days
You Will Be Responsible For: Participates on the AHFMC Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement Committee. Consult on Interviews, hires and terminations of Providers with Medical Director, Director, and respective Office Manager, and, Clinical Team Leaders and Clinical Assistants with Director Where possible, indirectly review each employee’s job performance on a regular basis (or more often if necessary). Make recommendations to the Medical Director, Office Manager or Clinical Team Leader regarding employee advancement and retention Supervise and direct all outpatient treatment staff in daily implementation of outpatient services Assist in identifying training needs and training for clinical staff and non-clinical staff Improve quality at AHFMC by participation on the QA/QI Committee Lead the clinical staff in review and improvement of the AHFMC Rural Health Clinic Manual and Patient Care Policies Identify and present new clinical regulations to the, QA/QI Committee, Director and Office Managers Assist with the analysis and Interpretation of AHFMC’s clinical policies and procedures and clinical program design, development, and implementation. Assist in essential front desk functions or medical assistant functions, if needed Act as a liaison between the Clinical Team Leaders and Director on higher level clinical staff needs Participate in all outpatient program meetings to include but not limited to contract review and negotiation, monthly provider meetings, quarterly QA/QI Committee meetings. Assist in performing patient chart audits each year to improve patient care recommending corrective action as needed Report to Medical Director and Director any unusual provider incidents or behaviors that could be potentially harmful to patients or lessen the quality of care Embrace and embody the mission, vision, values, and strategic plan of AHFMC Responds professionally and effectively to questions from external sources (patients & health plan reps), & internal sources (providers & clinic staff) Follows rules and regulations of AdventHealth Family Medicine Clinic as described in the AHFMC Employee Handbook and in the unit/department/clinic procedures Follows policies and procedures in the AHFMC Rural Health Clinic Manual and Patient Care Policies Performs all duties within established CBO timeframes Has consistent and dependable attendance Exhibits excellent customer service Works smart with a sense of urgency Is accessible and responsive to Patients, Providers, Directors, Team Leaders and Staff. Other duties as assigned or requested. QualificationsWhat You Will Need: Minimum 5 years’ clinical work experience in a primary care practice, preferably family practice
