Baystate Health, western Massachusetts’ premier healthcare provider and the only level 1 trauma center in western MA. We are seeking a Patient Experience Specialist to join our growing staff.
In this role, the Patient Experience Specialist will champion and facilitate improvement efforts at Baystate Health. In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership, facilitates initiatives that foster and enhance a culture of patient and family centered care excellence. Responsible for planning, design/development, implementation and evaluation of patient experience projects.
Provide leadership in collaboration with the Patient Experience Manager & Chief Patient Experience officer.
Identify best practices and best principles and hardwiring successful initiatives.
Continually evaluate progress and identify and mitigate barriers to success in order to achieve targeted results.
Participate in patient experience strategic planning, coordinate execution of work plan, and manage selected projects
Experience with sharing and interpreting patient satisfaction data.
Utilize LEAN principles to design new processes for success and sustained gains.
Ensure the integrity of the Baystate Health brand Patient/Family Experience
Communicate and interact with patients, families and others in a caring, empathetic, courteous, and respectful manner.
Qualified applicants will possess a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in change management or customer service. The ability to provide coaching to clinical & non-clinical staff for achieving optimal patient experience/service excellence is essential.
