The Integration Developer Consultant will be a critical team member for the delivery of key integration commitments with clients and vendors surrounding Coniferâ��s Revenue Cycle Management.
This position requires the individual to be very logical and have strong coding skills. The Integration Developer Consultant will work individually and as a member of a development team to design, develop and maintain integration solutions. He\She will be involved in all aspects of the development process, including: design, development, and system testing. He\She will be expected to further their technical knowledge and knowledge of Conifer products. The Integration Developer Consultant will be self-motivated and a fast learner with a desire to learn new technologies.

Design and implement integration projects based on requirements
Work with other members on the team to provide estimates, feedback on requirements, and technical guidance.
Perform code reviews and provide feedback.
Identifies opportunities for development process improvement, makes associated recommendations.

Required Skill: 4+ years of production use of a major integration engine such as InterSystems Ensemble/IRIS, Mirth/NextGen Connect, Orion/Lyniate Rhapsody, Infor Cloverleaf, or other (please be prepared to discuss the engine if not on the above list).
Preferred Skill: 2+ years of InterSystems Ensemble/IRIS and ObjectScript production experience
Required Skill: 4+ years of experience with HL7v2 ADT and SIU message types and flows
Preferred Skill: 1+ years of experience with HIPAA 270/271 and 835/837 message types and flows
Required Skill: 2+ years of experience with any version control system (Git, Subversion, etc.) using feature branches
Preferred Skill: 1+ years of experience with Git and its pull request feature
Required Skill: 4+ years of production experience with SQL DDL and query construction with any enterprise-class, relational database.
Preferred Skill: Scripting languages experience in PowerShell or Python.
Required Ability: Develop systems based on written specifications (Use Cases and/or User Stories).
Required Ability: Develop, evolve, and follow coding standards.
Preferred Ability: Use object oriented programming languages like Java or Microsoft C# and to understand object oriented programming concepts.
Required Ability: Construct unit test code with a unit testing framework.
Preferred Ability: Participate on team using an agile software development lifecycle (example: Scrum).
Required Ability: Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to engage with teams who may be remote.
Required Ability: Provide high level and detailed estimates.
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Required: Bachelorâ��s degree in computer science, engineering or management information systems. Deep industry experience and some targeted technical training programs may also suffice.
Required: 6+ years of experience as a developer
Required: 4+ years of experience as an integration developer
Required: Healthcare IT experience
Preferred: Healthcare revenue cycle experience a plus
Bonus: Experience with major hospitals systems like Epic, Cerner, McKesson a plus.
Bonus: API Design, Implementation, and Operations
Bonus: Containers experience a plus.
Bonus: Azure DevOps and Octopus Deploy (CI/CD)
