Overview
Exciting Womenâ™s Health Opportunity in the Beautiful Mid-Atlantic
Seeking an experienced Womenâ™s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) or Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) to be part of this exciting start-up OB/GYN practice in Fulton, MD.
Work collaboratively with established Mednax MFM specialists, OB Hospitalists, Neonatologists, and Pediatric Hospitalists providing a mix of OB and GYN care
Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests & triage calls for prescriptions
Participate in the patient and family education process
Assess, diagnose, and provide care to patients independently or collaboratively with the supervising physician
Interact and communicate with referring providers and other patient care team members including RNâ™s and medical assistants
Travel to satellite clinics and hospitals, as needed
Monday through Friday, but open to exploring innovative scheduling that could eventually include evening or weekend hours in lieu of some weekday hours
Ideal candidate will prioritize quality of care and focus on developing lasting relationships with their patients as well as strong ties with the community
A minimum of an MSN is required, and having an active MD license is a plus
