Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology preferred; or Bachelor of Science/Bachelorof Arts in Chemistry or Biology; or Associates degree in a Laboratory Scienceor Medical Technology.
Certification Requirements:
Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS), MedicalTechnologist (MT) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)
WorkExperience:
One-year Clinical experience (high complexity testing) is preferred but is notmandatory. Minimum of 1 year of clinicallaboratory experience in highly complex testing for those with Bachelor ofScience/Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry or Biology.
Job Duties:
Our MLS/CLS/MT/MLTmay function either as a generalist or a specialist. You will performtesting and report results following standard operating procedures. You will beresponsible for performing quality control and quality assurance functions intheir role. You will perform instrument maintenance and will troubleshootinstruments, as necessary. Most specialized Laboratory professionals arerequired to cross-train to perform multiple different tests. They arerequired to adhere to all safety requirements including wearing all appropriatepersonal protective equipment. Personalized Concierge service to aid in work/life balance.
