Inpatient Cardiologist – Lenox Hill Hospital

Northwell Health’s Department of Cardiology at Lenox Hill Hospital, a leading provider of comprehensive cardiac care located on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled inpatient cardiologist to provide exceptional care to our diverse patient population. This is an exceptional opportunity to practice at a renowned academic hospital with high-acuity cardiac care, advanced imaging, and a full spectrum of interventional, structural, electrophysiology, and heart failure services.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive inpatient cardiology consultations and management.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with various cardiovascular conditions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and research activities.
• Actively engage in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents.

This is a full-time, academic position with vast clinical, research, and teaching opportunities. The ideal candidate will be Board Certified/Eligible in cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography, with a strong foundation in inpatient cardiology, and have proficiency in TTE and TEE. Nuclear Cardiology and cardiac CT (Level II/III) certifications are preferred.
